So, I’m very sorry to say that the production of Iolanthe at the Kings Head Theatre with Charles Court Opera has had to close due to the continuing health crisis. I was playing the role of Celia and having a jolly good time running around dressed as a fairy. We had just managed to do 4 preview performances before the Prime Minister decided, quite rightly, to recommend the closure of theatres, pubs and other public venues until the threat of Covid-19 had settled somewhat. We are now in limbo waiting to hear when things might begin to return to normal. However, we have not been idle. In order to encourage people to support the arts during this unprecedented crisis we have created this brilliant video. Please consider donating to CCO.
